Control the crowd
I've recently started photographing weddings, and I have to say—they're so much fun to capture! One of the challenges at any event is managing the crowd and tracking down those friends or partners who've wandered off. But honestly, that's part of the excitement as a photographer—it’s all about getting people enthusiastic about the process and helping everyone feel at ease amidst the buzz of guests. It definitely helps to be a bit of a people person!
When my brother got married, I had the honour of handling both the photography and videography, using a range of camera equipment to capture every special moment. I’m currently putting together a case study to share how I managed it all—it’s been such a rewarding project!
Club Photography
One of the things I love most about my work is capturing shots from unique angles, especially those moments when people don’t realise they’re being photographed. These candid shots have a way of telling a deeper, more genuine story—they feel natural and effortless, creating images that are truly special. They’re the perfect balance to the classic group flash shots, which are always a hit and add their own charm to the mix!
It's always nice to hear genuine compliments for my work and to hear an interest from them as to when I will next be available. It's the national shots that are loved the most.
The UNSPOKEN experiance
Every year, I have the privilege of teaming up with Atiq Rehman on an amazing initiative called Good Deeds 24. In 2024, we organised a heartwarming 24-Hour Hospital Toy Drop, bringing joy to children and families in hospitals. It’s truly an exciting and rewarding project to be part of, as we work together to spread kindness and positivity across the UK.
Our efforts haven’t gone unnoticed either! We were featured on ITV News in 2022, The One Show in 2023, and in 2024, the Toy Drop caught the attention of several major news outlets, including the BBC. Of course, The Evening Telegraph also helped shine a spotlight on our actions. It’s been incredible to see the support and recognition for something so close to our hearts!
In Sight with Knowledge
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Knowledge for nearly eight years, and I still remember when he first began his journey as a motivational speaker. At the time, I suggested he learn video production, and he embraced the idea wholeheartedly, diving in with real dedication.
I mention him because so many of the strides he’s made over the years have come from small suggestions I’ve shared, which he’s implemented brilliantly. I couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come and how much he’s grown as a creator in his own right. His latest videos are a testament to this—his setups are fantastic, with noticeably improved lighting that really elevates the quality of his work. It’s been wonderful to watch his journey!
