About Frazer

Welcome! I am Frazer Goddon, a passionate photographer and videographer with over 12 years of experience in the field. My journey has taken me through a diverse range of events, from private functions and nightclubs to sports events, weddings, and one-on-one photo shoots. Below, you'll find a breakdown of my various interests and exploits.

Building a Channel

In March 2023 I was one of the organisers for Good Deeds 24 an Unspoken event. During this 24h event a visit to a retirement home was down and me and a portion of volunteers visited for a few hours. It was this that seeded the wish for me to create a YouTube channel specifically for documenting the story of interesting people.

It was the time spent with these people that had stories to tell that were being lost to time. Lost to dementia and eventually and ultimately death. I have since started to carve out time to find and record people of interest. I've started with John Dunning, more on this on the link below.

Graphic Designer

I started the design portion of my life in 2014 working for Masteroast and I was fortunate enough to work with many small businesses and established brands like Costa, Tesco's, Nero and Torrelli.

The team here were fantastic and it's one of the companies I've worked for that I really miss. Invariably people have moved on with their careers. I just remember the team events and the day to day activity and working in a small business that expects initiative.

The opportunities I was afforded here was learning about the print process, design, packaging and ultimately how to launch a successful coffee brand and the importance of delivering a positive result to a client. I also learnt how much of an impact you can have in a smaller business, how you can be a much larger cog in the process. I write about my experiences and growth in the link below.

Photography

My first semi professional camera was in 2014; a red Nikon D5300 that I picked up ahead of time after hearing about Les Mills the Chairman of Masteroast looking for a photographer in-house for a golf event that they hold annually.

This camera further built up my love of photography. I was at that time using a Sony Cyber Shot travel camera I picked up on a trip to America a few years prior, The Nikon granted me a few more tools to fine tune my photography skills, also to look a little more professional.

Magic Beans

Long before Magic Beans Trading was a thing I was developing my skills in design, marketing and web development; something that became advantageous later as I began using these skills repeatedly for multiple private projects. Eventually one of the projects grew into a full time gig.

Bird & Wild, Brown Bear, Seedzbox, and Kind Eyes was the next logical step.

Mirrors by Design

My first attempt in business where I learnt many things about myself, what I am both good and bad at. This business saw me using a drill to engrave pictures and poems into mirrors. This started off with me using a drill and quickly developed into me using a laser engraving machine remove the mirror foil from the back.

Ultimately the business didn't succeed and it was all my fault. I go into details on where I failed below.

The highs of this time was an invite to number 10 as a young entrepreneur that lead to other opportunities.
